Gee, if only there was some policy platform that promoted the idea of Medicare, only for all?

If we had a candidate that was for M4A they could have been pointing to this pandemic as ample reasoning to have some kind of national medical insurance for everyone. And coordinated national response ability as a bonus. This is the time to highlight the advantages of a single payer national system. But nothing is said on the topic by our nominee. An opportunity missed.
