It astounds me that, even at this late date, the media treats every action trump does as if was his first, devoid of any memory of the three years of continuous criminality, lying and self-dealing it has (usually) reported itself!

Why, it was just days ago that trump said that only the"tyranny" of the "rogue 'democrat' governors" with their stay-at-home "oppression" was standing in the way of this magical waiting-to-burst "economic rebound." And, then his "good people" goons, with their guns, MAGA hats and confederate flags, started their "protest rallies" that are really campaign rallies, cravenly covered by the click-hungry press as if it were spontaneous and not choreographed. Hey! It's a lot of people (i.e., at least 10.) They're shouting real loud! Let's go live!

"Take calls only from the governors who have been nice to me," "Do me a favor, though," "more tests than anyone," etc.

And then they roll this out, as if it were really serious. Trump only cares about reelection. That's it. Any "optics" he thinks helps in that regard is to be pursued, regardless of its lack of any real value. And, after touting the "miracle" of a malaria drug that stops people's hearts, injecting poison into the body, inserting lamps into bodily orifices, not wanting to wear a mask, and all the rest, who, in their right mind, would actually even consider taking a vaccine touted from the same nefarious cabal, especially if it gets done quickly? If trump has a choice to make between safety and 'good optics' for reelection, everyone knows which he will choose.

Well, now I have that out of my system. Time for more liquor.
