The Gov opened up my area Up North a couple weeks ago. We had an invasion of unmasked downstaters. That is scary.
With my health I'd never survive Covid-19, so I'm staying put unless I have to go out, and when I do, I'll grab my hand sanitizer and mask.
Already we're seeing people foregoing safe practices. Just look at the protesters out there without masks, or wearing their masks poorly, and touching their faces - many of whom are nearby someone else who is shouting, spittle and all! I hope we don't see a big surge in sick people.
Even some of my friends have become lax. During these months, I've gotten together with a couple of friends for card games because we trusted that each of us were safely practicing safe behavior. Well, one has become lax, and I had to tell her no more visits. Unfortunately, it just takes one little itty bitty slip up and ka-pow, hello, Covid-19!
This is all very trying.
