The forecast track shows Marco approaching the Yucatan Peninsula’s eastern coast on Saturday, then move over the central Gulf of Mexico toward the northwestern waters Sunday and Monday before it targets the Texas coastline on Tuesday.
Long-term projections for Tropical Storm Laura have it between Cuba and the Florida Keys on Monday still as a tropical storm, but then into the Gulf of Mexico off Florida’s southwest coast as a Category 1 hurricane where it will then head to Louisiana on Wednesday.
