In the end, they are voting with their parties, not with the President, just as we expect all of our Senators to vote with our party. You cant blame them, the Supreme Court is the ultimate prize for everyone.
Do you honestly think that if the shoe were on the other foot, any of our Senators would vote no, if it meant losing the big prize? We may allow for a few of them (like Murkowski, and Collins), but if they were the deciding vote, no way.
I am not trying to use the both side argument, Im just speaking the truth. For party ideals, this the biggest deal. This is what both sides wait for.
