A lot of people don't want to believe good news, maybe because there has been so much bad news this year. The great thing about the vaccine trial results is they come from a panel of independent investigators. And the good thing about the FDA processes is that they have been fine-tuned over many years to reduce conflict of interest.

So far, 90 severe cases were in the placebo group, vs. only 5 in the vaccine group
