Make no mistake, regardless of how he rationalizes this decision, Mitch is calculating this decision as a means for regaining power. Screw him. He has ZERO conscience
Edit to add: he conveniently "supported" impeachment in Jan and then requested a delay for the "new Senate" to take it up.
