7. WMDs in Iraq. Years later, Republicans still think that the US found WMDs in Iraq

after the invasion. We didn't. The whole WMDs in Iraq was a lie. The United Nations inspection team in Iraq made that clear to the UN shortly before we invaded.

See the April 2004 edition of Vanity Fair. I will never forget the article. I read the details of the report of the United Nations inspection team to the UN prior to our invasion numerous times. The lying by the Bush administration was brazen.

And now the Republicans and Fox News are trying to foist another brazen lie on us.

Did the Obama administration walk back from their first assertion that the attack on Benghazi was a terrorist attack? Maybe a bit. They insisted that they needed to investigate. And that is understandable because if you watch the video, there appears to have been both a demonstration and an armed attack from a truck at the consulate in Benghazi.

Also, we had people in Libya who needed to be gotten out from the country in the days and hours following the attack. I can't believe that the media and Republicans have paid so little attention to the details of the reports in the days and weeks following that attack. It appears to be intentional ignorance. Just another Fox News ploy.
