(1,249 posts)I just came from our monthly class reunion (20+ people) and I'll bet 90% refuse to get vax'd. They had various reasons, but if I could mention a couple themes:
...... now that everyone else is vax'd and I've lucked out not getting COVID, I should be safe. A second theme is that vaccinations cause blood clots and it's not worth the risk.
To me that's a parasitic attitude. Let someone else take the risk, and once everyone else is vax'd, then they won't need to be vax'd. (or a side parallel issue, don't won't give aid to the poor because those people don't work and are parasites)
Of course, it takes longer for community immunity (formerly: herd), some people will die from COVID, one out of 17 million will get a blood clot, but then the statistics are higher for someone having an blood clot just being old and alive.
They are worried about the one chance in 17 million for having a blood clot (?)
