I agree to disagree. This country's laws and citizenship have always provided privilege and extraordinarily conspicuous entitlement to white and light skin(s). Flynn is a perfect example. Free speech is one thing, true, and has been protected by me in more ways than you would appreciate, probably. It's another thing if that free speech right is verging on treason and sedition in favor of a con man and his crooked grifting family. Those people who were supported and agitated into an attempted coup de tat by a duly fired POTUS, are reminded of their Trump-inspired mission of 1/6/2021 in Flynn implying coup is the current and ongoing answer. His white skin is why he is walking free at this very second. He and the thousands that invaded the Capitol and grounds are/were, respectively, given a pass because of white skin. Only 400+ so far charged and under investigation for Insurrection 1/6/2021. They wanted to start civil and race wars. Yet thousands are free. Still agitating for coup and sedition. The insurrectionists want civil war based on white supremacy led by trump and the likes of Flynn. They are being handled with kid gloves. A privilege based on perceived supremacy even as insurrectionists who are still advocating for the violent overthrow of an established government.

The next day in Tulsa-Greenwood 1921, 3 to 6000 people had been rounded up and were being held. After many other black persons, men, women, children, senior citizens had been murdered in an orgy of murderous white hate and jealousy. I know one thing for sure, Capitol groundskeepers would still be policing blood and flesh from the surrounding grounds IF the insurrectionists had been black and brown-skinned. Thousands would be held in prisons and jails right now. Black skin would have been the target and any would have done for prosecution. So YES, damn near every privilege and general entitlement is based on skin color in Amerikkka.
