42. Conservative gays should sit this one out and stay mum.

Gays aren't by necessity or nature liberals and can't be treated as such. A conservative gay person is not an oxymoron.

But, supporting a party that is monolithically against your very nature, being, existence and equal rights - even if that party has other policy positions you agree with - is just plain crazy.

There are plenty of black people who have some favoritism toward states rights, I'm sure. But, I can't see them voting for a candidate who's openly a KKK member because of that. Gays who vote Republican are essentially voting in favor of their own expulsion from being equals in this society - even if they are free-marketeers and government haters.
