34. Sorry, but I respectfully disagree

America has always been centrist. Only the current leaders in the republican party are the extremists. And there really aren't any more of them now than there ever were. They just have huge money and internet access pumping up their small influence into what seems like the majority of the GOP.

But real people aren't there. Only the gazillionaires and idealogues are there. The rest of us are centrists: We know that there isn't unlimited money and so we have to pick and choose carefully: We can't run wars all over the earth and keep lowering taxes and expect to survive the deficit, all at the same time.

But we also know we don't have to fix everything tomorrow at the expense of rationality. We know it will take some time.

America isn't divided: It's deluded. America thinks it can have everything without paying for it. Both sides think this way.

Obama has been operating in the middle and has accomplished more than any president I can think of. But the money and Fixed news make it seem otherwise.

Some of us are informed and some of us are just simple blamers, but we're mostly centrists.
