21. i'm in one of the best systems in the country.

have a primary who teaches at u of chicago. rheumie, too.

neither of them realized that my copd was not inflammatory, but secretions from my shoghens. i figured it out, and turns out it is easily controlled w a saline mist treatment, instead of the steroids i've been on for years. also have osteopenia, which, yeah, steroids not good.
and i have several conditions that are likely also related, but not of a concern to either of, because i am seeing a specialist.
it's called stovepiping, and it's the biggest factor in medical mystery cases.

i'm in a gap in my ins atm, but i'm planning a 'come to jesus' talk w my rheumie.
all the bs of the last 1 1/2 yrs blew it all up so hard, it was easy to see.


and oh, being a medical mystery gets you a psyche dx.
it aint all white coats and smiles, ppl.
