under the radar repug in these times filled with loudmouths. I hope his vax helps him and that he then tells his constituents how it did so.

When I was a child, his father Delbert Latta was our congressman in Northwest Ohio. Del seemed like a pretty typical Eisenhower repug of the time. I met Delbert Latta with my parents in his DC office on a family trip in 1964 and he gave us passes that allowed us to be in the House gallery for some of the debate over The Civil Rights Act. It was quite the "live" impression on me at just nine years old. BTW, my parents were Kennedy democrats. We were treated like welcome constituents, which is how politics was done in 1964, a bygone era indeed.
