Yes, it is true that MTG's "space lasers" comment and her other nonsense is exactly that -- nonsense. Bullshit. Lies. The ravings of a lunatic.

However, something else is true: FACTS ARE IRRELEVANT. It does not matter that MTG is a raving loon. She is doing it because that's what her constituents -- you know, CONSTITUENTS, the people who vote for her -- are delighted when she pulls a stunt like this because she is "owning the libs" (or, in this case, owning the traitorous Liz Cheney).

So -- sad to say it doesn't matter what you and I say about MTG, she's playing to the people who will vote for her in 2022.
