noaa and tsunami people, northern Vancouver island to AK are under a watch. Here it is just "if" it was big enough, it would get here. And yes, we had the one from Japan last year. Will keep monitoring but it isn't OMG THE WHOLE WEST COAST!!!!! thing.

You got it, off the coast of BC and Prince Rupert, BC has be issued a Tsunami warning.

Not the whole west coast but BC-AK in parts. No warning for WA, OR, CA or Hawaii or Central AK

Hover over the map and it gives you arrival times at Astoria, Seaside.. all down the coast. nt

We have tsunami warnings for San Pedro (LA Harbor), CA among other places in the state.

That's a very bad place for a quake of that size, definitely a Sunami danger....

From it's location, it looks like it was on the main fault, which I think is a Slip fault.
