This election was VERY close. Much closer than I thought it would be. Imagine if trump had come out of that hospital and told everyone "this shits for real. You do NOT want it. Take ALL the precautions the doctors have told us to take". Something as simple as that may very well have gotten him the 75k votes he needed to win.
But of course, he's too damn stubborn and stupid to realize that
