People keep criticizing Democrats for not being good at messaging, allowing/letting/not stopping the right-wing media empire to take over. Fundraising is important. Everything takes money to fund and Democrats don't have nutty/libertarian/movement conservatives with unlimited money to fund them like Republicans do. The bullshit about Democrats being corrupt because of campaign contributions is old, stupid populist bullshit.
