Their other boost tests had been done with their other vaccine candidates as combos that targeted the Wild type and Beta as well as a combo targeting Beta and Delta (the Beta being what was predominate in South Africa before they got hit with Delta whereas we and Europe had Alpha as predominate before Delta).
