6. There's enough gas in the ground to destroy all that's left of the natural environment we know...

... and probably our world civilization as well.

Gas is the most dangerous energy source in common use, largely because people think it's "green" and their renewable energy fantasies are not viable without it.

Nuclear power is a much less dangerous technology in comparison. With the human population approaching eight billion nuclear power is the only energy technology capable of displacing fossil fuels entirely.

I used to be a hard core anti-nuclear activist. I'm not anymore.
