The more investigations he faces, the better. Surely one of them will have consequences. I’ve lost faith that anything will be done at the federal level, though some of his accomplices may well be in trouble. Unfortunately, being convicted of a crime does not necessarily mean that he can’t run for president in 2024. I saw an article this morning (CNN) that said he is definitely running because he thinks the DOJ rule of not prosecuting sitting presidents would protect him from these investigations. Plus, he would try to pardon himself.
