Would one describe the holocaust as ""batshit" "bananas" "crazy" "absolute banana republic" "insane" "crazy all around" "imaginary universe" "mental disability" "completely bananas""? You know, a foolish escapade of youthful overexuberance gone awry, or would one call it for what it was, a stain on the very concept of civilization so heinous that an eternity of trials and executions would only barely prove the prevalence of justice.

People will excuse insanity and foolishness and even see their own imperfect selves in those so adjudged. But these Trump guys, in an effort to put their own imprimatur on the ways of men on the Earth saw an unlawful path and took it, almost succeeding in permanently disrupting our democracy which, you'll recall, with very election season, recreates the US into the more perfect union its citizens wish it to be.
