why is it that we put such importance on defense but so little on children, education and the people working in these fields who, imo, do the MOST important of jobs?! You all work with less than bare bones and they expect you to do what now?

I will write, call, etc. even though I know it does very little. Hmm.... I am wondering if this is something that occupy would be willing to fight for? I would think so.
