(43 posts)how someone can look at a child/youth and see something sexually appealing. I just don't understand. I look at kids and see innocence that needs to be protected ... it takes a village and all that. I have 2 daughters and we watched them like hawks. We would question them after overnight events, field trips ... made certain they knew talking was OK, that they didn't have to fear anyone's threats to keep secrets. As they got older, we had them sit down and look at the sexual offender website for our zipcode. They were going to be the ones possibly encountering these people. My youngest announces "hey this guy works at the bowling alley", and sure enough he did. Made sure the after school program that occasionally took the kids bowling was aware. The guy also had two young boys that we would see around the neighborhood as a family.
Sandusky is where he belongs. How many lives did he destroy? When Dr. Phil premiered this season, he had a Sandusky victim on and the now adult spoke of what appeared to be a pedophile ring, where they traded boys and traded photos like baseball cards. This goes much further.
