3. It might indeed be Russian "policy" not to strike civilian targets,

(although one may easily have their doubts about that), but "policy" does not control the fingers on the triggers, nor aim the weapons.

The dogs of war unleashed are a fearsome and inaccurate thing, and there are always civilian casualties, regardless of the intentions.
Forces of the US have found this to be true, even in the age of smart-bombs. Once the shooting starts, there will always be civilian deaths.

Nothing meant to defend the Russians here, I hate the bastards, they know these facts as well as we do.... besides, other reports say they have "a list" of people to eliminate...


Even if what they claim is true, many civilian casualties are inevitable. How many did we kill, in the Iraq war?
(and I have to have faith that we did not intend such numbers, but "collateral damage"...)
But I do doubt that such target discrimination is their "policy" here.


War is hell. That is why it should be avoided.

I pray for the brave defenders of Ukraine. There have been many heroes, and there will be many more.
