(12,210 posts)7. I sometimes have trouble making the argument against a terrorist like this monster, and others.
However, my bedrock position is that the death penalty is morally the wrong thing for the state to be doing, and it is too often wrong. Even once is too often.
Look at the history of it in Illinois, for example.
