27. That is one of the best speeches I've ever seen.

Sen. McMorrow nailed it. If that wasn't a mic drop moment there never has been one.

One particular part struck me: "People who are different are not the reason our roads are in bad shape, or healthcare costs are too high, or teachers are leaving the profession."

LGBTQ, Black, Brown or Asian people aren't responsible for for any of the pressing matters that our government entities are supposed to be in charge of fixing.

Are they responsible for contaminated rivers and streams? No.
Are they responsible for polluted air? No.
Are they responsible for the failed Covid-19 response of TFG's administration? No.
Are they responsible for most anything bad in our society? No.

But, here's a thought; If these groups of people had billions of dollars to throw around (not that they would, mind you) to any republican politician with their hand out, we'd be hearing about who's contaminating, polluting, corrupting and outright ruining this country instead of them.

Republicans are the trashiest pieces of shit for scapegoating them for craven political gain. They cavalierly accuse anyone that disagrees with them as "groomers" and "pedophiles." If we don't confront them as Sen. McMorrow did they will continue and expand on their depraved behavior. Should that be allowed, it will get progressively worse for the 'marginalized' in this country.
