98. Trump did these idiots a huge disservice

They think they accomplished something on 1/6. In essence they had limited success on 1/6 because Trump turned off the defense. He actually started far earlier and defense against the RWNJs was fully off by the BLM protests on the summer of 2020. This is how Rittenhouse walked into a rally and started shooting protestors and then just walked away fully armed.

Biden has turned the defenses back on nearly 2 years ago.

Note that we have a government that can take out the head of al-Queda sitting on his balcony in Kabul with very little damage to the building from a drone likely piloted in South Dakota. The notion that these bubbas with their pop guns stand any real chance of starting or sustaining a 'civil war' is flatly absurd. Because Trump gave them the illusion of actual competence, some might indeed try, it will not last long and will end badly and stunningly fast for those who do.
