It would be interesting to know how many of the signatories hold totally safe seats and face almost zero chance of losing those seats in two weeks. I have not taken a look but I would bet that most of them are not facing tough challenges in this election. If they were I suspect that they would been much more careful about the timing of releasing such a letter.
