52. NPR 4 pm News just said that it is confirmed

that missiles struck inside Poland and killed at least two people. They also said that US and NATO security officials are investigating to verify whether they were "direct" missiles and whether Russia fired them. They area also considering response options pending their investigation.

Looks like Putin either wants an escalation or thinks that NATO will do nothing. The purpose of the strike was apparently to destroy power in the region of Ukraine that borders Poland.

My take: He is losing the war so he is determined to destroy all Ukrainian power and infrastructure on his way out.
