(4,209 posts)42. I predicted that we would take the House, but I generally wasn't serious.
It was more of a "wouldn't it be great if" kind of prediction.
Given how well the Rs did in the 2000 state races, and thus had the privilege to control the gerrymandering, I think we kicked ass in the House this time around.
But I really don't think that gaining more seats in the House in 2014 is terribly hard to imagine. And with the way the counts are still happening this week, we've picked up even more seats.
But what do I know.
