(168,766 posts)54. I think because not only did they not need to spend a lot of time trying to ID them
they knew they were part of organizations that they had been monitoring for years.
But more importantly, they also had informants embedded in both the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.
Even with partial info from them, it helps to get a case developed much quicker (especially if any of the informants were wearing wires or managed to have data like texts/chat logs, etc., that may have provided some details on planning).
