37. My Life in AZ hell!

It does not surprise me in the least this person is from Arizona. Especially Mesa! It just needs to be annexed by Salt Lake City. I see and hear these people all day every day from the confines of my barber chair. We're like bar tenders cause we hear it all, and in my part of the valley its very strongly conservatard too!

As a part owner of a barber shop here in Glendale, AZ and "let me tell you something!" (in my best Firemarshall Bill voice) getting my business partner to turn off the Faux News during business hours was like pulling teeth from a rabid coyote! Funny how no matter how many facts you present them or how badly their "news" source fails them, they are undaunted in their ignorance. These are intelligent people but their willful ignorance goes much deeper than that. Just like in religion if you're told something from the very beginning you'll most like not challenge the information. Reminds me of the zealots blowing up abortion clinics saying they were saving the life of the child.

I used to say Arizona was on the fast track to Kentucky status, in regards to our education system. Then I did some checking and found we've already surpassed them and a couple other states for the honor of being the 44th worst in the US.
