34. It's welcome. I'm no expert on military budgets, but no one can tell me that cutting each of our

five militaries' budgets in half is any expert opinion to be believed, either.

Just looking at the US Military structures in no way shows the breadth and depth of their command across the planet.

I can't even find an adequate Air Force organization, but will just put in this one military's broad budget.

But I do know it's easy to fool ourselves and talk tough, using "cut cut cut" lingo, as if we know better than they, that the 3rd largest nation on the planet --
with its Navy (with its own air force) that commands 75% of Earth, the oceans;
with its largest military, the US Air Force, which commands 100% of Earth's air

-- has missions that are at larger scale than we can grasp. What seems sensible is to trim down is the contractor sector.
