At some point in time these idiots fell into a feedback loop within the bullshit stream of their propaganda machine. They used to know they were lying, now they are in what Bill Maher calls "the bubble", their own private world view, immune to facts, divorced from common reality.

Norquist is doing the 180 gambit.
