(2,328 posts)the guy might just be anti-war. All war. It is, after all, a waste of human potential at the most basic level.
I don't agree with the premise that defending yourself is bad. It is, in my opinion, a basic human right. Doesn't mean it will result in the best outcome in terms of minimizing the loss of human life but that's a calculation that we all have to make in accordance with our beliefs.
That said, I wonder what he thinks will happen if it comes to this:

Polands Ambassador to France Jan Emeryk Rościszewski said in an interview that a situation could arise in which Poland would have to enter the war. The embassy urged audiences to refrain from sensationalising his words.
