I still demand that all members of Congress be forced to take the same citizenship test that prospective immigrants have to pass before being allowed to become U.S. citizens. Passing grade is 90%, random questions, and no "extra credit" given.

If they fail, the runner-up in the last election that put them into office gets the chance to take the test, and take office. If neither can pass, a new election is held, with neither of the two failing candidates being allowed to be on the ballot. If the state can't find a candidate willing to run in a primary who can pass he test, then that state/district is denied the chance at representation for the period of office for which the election was held. You want to be represented in the US government, that entails certain responsibilities. Sending ignorants like Tubverville to the US Senate is an abdication of that responsibility.
