I guess if a lot of armed Trump Zombies turn up and start shooting up the place, then the armed and organised arms of Laura Orda (Law and Order) will come out and say 'Nope, you can't do that! We have guns too, and know how to use them if we must.'

Let's see . . . general police, SWAT, state militia, army.

I guess though the loudest voices calling for armed civil unrest won't be in the front line.

There may well be blood on the streets. Whose, that is the question.

In reality, once you cut the head off a crime gang, the followers usually dissipate back into invisibility.
Lock their guns away, then deny any involvement if questioned.
