I kind of freaked the first time I walked into the medical center & they'd gotten rid of their mask requirement. The nurse said, "Your pulse is a lot higher than usual." But then she put on a mask & told me that legally, in CO anyway, the patient can request medical personnel treating them to wear a mask & they have to.
