In reply to the discussion: Medicare Advantage Overbills Taxpayers by $140 Billion a Year--Enough to Wipe Out Medicare Premiums [View all]INdemo
(7,024 posts)62. I've had a Supplemental paln for 12 years now and the only thing I could
complain about is the current high premiums. However everthing is 0 copay after Medicare deductible is used.
I have known those that have MA and they lost their life savings to pay for cancer treatments that Medicare Advantage denied them.

So glad you are well. If using Advantage plans, it's best to choose a PPO. You can go out of network

If PNHP is right and Medicare Advantage is overbilling, an investigation by the DOJ seems overdue.

Exactly. And who makes corporations accountable for overbilling? It can't just be Congress.

But the question is who enforces against cheats: Congress passing a law, or the DOJ, or some

I've used an Advantage plan for a decade. I always choose a PPO. I've had brain stenting...

I am getting dozens of calls per week trying to get me to switch to a 'free' advantage plan.
