(169,403 posts)11. A number of these products have different versions
with phenylephrine or with pseudoephedrine. Biggest example that I used to use was Alka Seltzer Plus, where they discontinued the one with pseudoephedrine.
For the SUDAFEDs -


Anything with pseudoephedrine is "behind the counter" (or in a locked display case) and is normally tracked with restrictions for how much can be purchased monthly (thanks to the druggies that use it to make meth).
Have to read the label and note where/how it is displayed.

Did that for a long time, but my grocery's pharmacy stopped providing it, a while ago.
