earned or "unearned" as FICA. The Hedge Funders and Vulture Capitalists who never draw a "wage" but instead live off other forms of their "working" money should have every dollar taxed up to and including the same amount as the person who works at McDonalds. That's the quickest and fairest way I can see to ensure the solvency. Of course, it would be nice to strip that artificial "max" from the law, as well. While 100% of our income... at least, for most of us it's our entire income... they get away with paying very little or nothing at all.

We are suppose to have a fair and progressive tax system. That concept has been lost through the years by adopting loophole after loophole in favor of those with the money to buy the lawyers, financiers, and politicians who will support their cause. Meanwhile, we're kept at bay by having to worry about paying the monthly bills and eating. All of this adds up to neither fair nor progressive. Yet it IS a step towards their ultimate goal of a paying nothing at all in taxes of any kind, period. What did the Madame say? Taxes are only for the little people?

Gods... sometimes it seems like their whole purpose is to create (and then incite) class conflicts. You don't think they'd have a purpose with that, do you? (LOL)
