We joke about Philly in the east, Pittsburgh in the west, and Alabama in between.

I have voted blue in every national, state, and local election since I moved here. I think that only a few up-ballot politician (Pres/VP, Governor, & recently Senator) have actually won. None of the local votes have gone blue since 2005 at least not that I can recall.

Lots of nice things about the area. Politics is not one of them.
