In 2024, California gets 54 EVs. We can count on them to go to the Democrat.

Texas (40), Arkansas (6) and Louisiana (8) total 54 EVs which will go to the Republicans.

One problem - California's voter turnout in 2020 was over 80% of registered voters, while Texas was less than 67%. Arkansas and Louisiana were also less than 70%. So why do they also get a total matching California's 54? If we're going to have this stupid system, shouldn't it be based on the number of people who actually vote?
