I remember arguing with one (well, many) of his fans here. I said, iirc, that people who followed his “righteous” cause ended up in prison or in exile. I felt sorry for them, but I thought they’d been made fools of. And I did not feel sorry for him after I realized how many people got wrecked by associating with him. Not cool. Not cool at all.
