Damaging it, yes, but Hamas is an idea of resistance and given all the death and destruction Israel had rained down on Palestinians the Israelis have a better chance of curing the common cold and cancer in the next month than they do of stamping out the militant elements of Hamas (or whatever new name it will morph into).
