Here's a clue for the clueless. There are good progressives in the South (and not just in Atlanta) and there are stupid assholes in every area of the country.

This guy's moronic column had nothing to do with his being from Atlanta or the South. The same column might well have been written by someone in other parts of the country. And it would have been equally reprehensible no matter where the author lived.
