5. Adding more fish to one's diet is also a healthy change

One doesn't have to go full-vegetarian, just cut down on red meats and the processed lunch meats that are full of fats and preservatives. Take it one step at a time, adding more veggies, fruits and salads, cut back on carbs and meats.

Anyone who is smoking .... stop immediately! Alcohol is safe if used moderately ... no more than one or two drinks with a meal. Nothing after 8 p.m.
