(17,164 posts)18. My employer did not send my tax deduction every week directly to the state so they could submit it to the IRS
I have friends that own small businesses and that's not where the tax payments they deduct from their employees go. They send it directly to the IRS and not to state government.
Not understanding how a state like California could intercept it all and keep it

Let the turnabout be for sanctuary cities to withhold the tax funds they send to the federal gov't. n/t
