During the campaign he promised 50%,60% even 100% tariffs on China. Instead, after taking office the figure was 10%. Meanwhile, although no mention of Canada and Mexico were made during the campaign, 25% tariffs were imposed.

By coincidence, while Ford and GM manufacture EV’s in Mexico and Canada, Tesla does not. On the other hand they do a great deal of business with China.
